பௌர்ணமியின் மாலைகளில் நண்பர் கூடினர்

சத்யமுடன் சேர்ந்து-ஆற்றங்..கரைக்குச் சென்றனர்

வான்-நிலவின் ஒளியின்-ஒளியை மண்ணில்-கண்டனர்

கான-ஒலி இசைத்திடவே வேண்டி நின்றனர்

 

இளவயதில் நதி-மணலில் ஓடி..யாடுங்கள்

அதன்-வழியே உரம்-வளர்த்து உடலைப் பேணுங்கள்

என்று-வளர் சிறுவர்களின் மனதை வென்றவன்

ஓர்-மொழியை நண்பருக்குச் சொல்லி நின்றனன் s

 

இறைவன்-புகழ் என்னும்-அமுது நீ-கொ..டுத்தது

அதனில்-மனம் சென்றதுமே பிற-க..சக்குது

என்று-சிறு பொடியர்களும் கூறி நின்றனர்

நன்று-முதிர் ஞானியர் போல் பேசிநின்றனர்

ப்ரேம-வடிவில் பிறந்த-சாயி சரிதம்-கேளுங்கள்

சரிதம்-கேளுங்கள் சரிதம்-கேளுங்கள் புனிதச் சரிதம்-கேளுங்கள்

Story Line

·        Sathyam used to go to Chitravathi river bed on Pournami days along with his friends. He used to tell the friends to play.

·        The children used to pester sathyam to compose bhajans and sing. They said, we are not interested in playing after you seeded the interest in God. We don’t have interest in wordly things like games and plays

·        Sathyam then used to compose and sing bhajans

·        Children used to spend time with Him like Gopikas did with Lord Krishna. Each would show their abundant love for Sathyam is every which way possible.

·        This is how Swamy showed them that love begets love and bliss.

   The Sands Of The Chitravathi River ( Ref. His story as told by Himse)

" During the full-moon nights, we used 

to go to the Chitravathi river. All the children used to spend time happily on the Chitravathi sands right from 6 o'clock in the evening till late in the night. The elders also used to join us. They used to play Kabadi and some other games. I used to encourage the children saying, "You also go and play. If the body is to be healthy, there must be sufficient exercise for it." But, the children were reluctant to leave Me. They used to insist, "Raju, we are interested only in bhajans. If you sing, we will follow you." Sometimes, they would request Me to compose new songs. I used to compose a number of songs. They expressed surprise at My poetic skills saying, "Raju, how did you acquire these poetic skills?" They used to sing the songs composed by Me and feel very happy. They praised Me saying,

"Raju, you compose beautiful songs and set them to good tunes." I would tell them, "If you have any wishes. to be fulfilled, tell Me. But don't praise Me like this In those days, several children used to follow Me.

They were Kesanna, Ranganna, Subbanna, Ramanna etc. Those children were very dear to Me. They also loved Me very much. Their Love and innocence could not be described in words. A boy of seven years used to place My head on his lap and put Me to sleep saying, "Raju, you are very much tired. Take rest for some time." After some time he would say, "Raju, since you had placed your head on my thigh and slept, all the pain that was there earlier had disappeared. I experienced some inexplicable joy". Thereafter, the other children also craved for that privilege. They chalked out a method by which all the children would get such an opportunity. According to that, I was expected to place My head on each one's thigh and relax to a count of 50 numbers. Thus, I used to provide .joy to one and all.
